Consumer Durables stocks jump

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index increasing 293.93 points or 1.1% at 27004.96 at 09:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Titan Company Ltd (up 2.54%), Orient Electric Ltd (up 1.89%), Voltas Ltd (up 0.48%), and Symphony Ltd (up 0.44%), were the top gainers.

On the other hand, V I P Industries Ltd (down 1.83%), Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (down 0.84%), and Blue Star Ltd (down 0.59%) turned lower.

At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 93.73 or 0.23% at 41472.17.

The Nifty 50 index was down 26.95 points or 0.22% at 12174.25.

 

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 0.09 points or 0% at 14731.14.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 17.33 points or 0.34% at 5087.25.

On BSE,757 shares were trading in green, 778 were trading in red and 63 were unchanged.
