Information Technology shares gain

Information Technology stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index rising 115.6 points or 0.78% at 14901.3 at 09:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Zen Technologies Ltd (up 5.35%), D-Link India Ltd (up 2.78%),Quick Heal Technologies Ltd (up 2.45%),Trigyn Technologies Ltd (up 2.27%),63 Moons Technologies Ltd (up 2.09%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Ramco Systems Ltd (up 2.06%), Accelya Solutions India Ltd (up 1.84%), NELCO Ltd (up 1.77%), Mastek Ltd (up 1.7%), and Mindtree Ltd (up 1.55%).

On the other hand, HCL Infosystems Ltd (down 2.46%), eClerx Services Ltd (down 1.64%), and NIIT Ltd (down 1.1%) moved lower.

 

At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 197.79 or 0.48% at 41019.09.

The Nifty 50 index was up 55.25 points or 0.46% at 12092.95.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 36.06 points or 0.27% at 13447.39.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 11.93 points or 0.26% at 4689.04.

On BSE,859 shares were trading in green, 531 were trading in red and 82 were unchanged.
