Dr Reddy's Laboratories October futures at premium to spot price
The October 2015 futures on the 50-unit CNX Nifty index traded at 7,832, a premium of 36.30 points compared with Nifty's closing of 7,795.70 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty shed 72.80 points or 0.93% to settle at 7,795.70, its lowest closing level since 11 September 2015.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories, State Bank of India, Tata Motors, Axis Bank and Wockhardt were the top traded individual stock futures contracts on the futures & options (F&O) segment of NSE.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories October 2015 futures traded at 4,204.70, a premium to the stock's spot price of 4,177.90 in the cash market.
State Bank of India October 2015 futures traded at 241.50, a premium to the stock's spot price of 240.90 in the cash market.
Tata Motors October 2015 futures traded at 286.15, a premium to the stock's spot price of 284.65 in the cash market.
Axis Bank October 2015 futures traded at 511, a premium to the stock's spot price of 507.60 in the cash market.
Wockhardt October 2015 futures traded at 1,419.85, a premium compared with the stock's spot price of 1,413 in the cash market.
The October 2015 F&O contracts are set to expire on 29 October 2015.
