Anelka happy to join Juventus

The 33-year-old French forward has signed from Shanghai Shenua until the end of the season, and Friday revealed that he already feels at home in Turin, reports Xinhua.

"I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome," he said at the club's official website. "I am happy to be here, at such a great club.

"I am very proud to wear this shirt. Some of my former teammates have told me what a great place this is - and as soon as I arrived, I felt at home.

"Italian football is recognised throughout the world - there are some great players in this league and I know it's a very hard championship to win.

 

"I am happy to be in Italy at such a big club.

"Juventus have all the qualities to succeed in every competition," he said.
