Marta signs deal with Swedish champions Rosengard

FC Rosengard have agreed a three-year deal with five-time Women's World Player of the Year Marta.

The Brazilian international has played for the Swedish champions and UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-finalists since June on an initial six-month contract, reports Xinhua.

Marta posted on her Instagram page: "I am very happy and proud to have signed a new contract with Rosengard. My ambition is to win more titles with this fantastic team."

Earlier in the week, Rosengard, who will face Wolfsburg in the last eight of the UEFA Women's Champions League in March, signed central defender Emma Berglund from Damallsvenskan rivals Umea IK.
