KSR Constructions Rs 42cr villas coming up at Vizag

KSR Constructions has officially launched "� Sunny Isles "� a Rs 42-crore premium residential township project at Rushikonda in Visakhapatnam. Jurong India has been appointed as the architect, engineer and construction manager for this project.

The residential enclave, consisting of 54 villas, is being built over 12.78 acres of land. The villas are of two kinds "� The Orchids and The Lillies. While The Orchids cost between Rs 90 lakh and Rs 115 lakh, The Lillies cost around Rs 75 lakh. The former are bigger in size and have a swimming pool as well.

The project is being built on a public-private partnership with the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (Vuda). It is likely to be ready within the next 18 months, and according to KSR Constructions director B G Reddy, 20 plots have already been booked.

Commenting on the partnership between KSR and Jurong, See Chak Mun, high commissioner of Singapore to India, said, "In the end of June, India and Singapore will be signing the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement that will have a package of tariff reductions in chemicals, auto parts etc."

Munukutla Rao, chief executive officer of Jurong (India), said that one of the reasons for them to develop villas in Vizag is the splurge of IT initiatives besides biotechnology and tourism boom in the city.

"These villas will suit the changing lifestyle of the city as it will have international amenities like club house, broadband connectivity, rain-water harvesting and CCTV monitoring," he added.
