'Comprehensive development policy for each,every section':Omar

"A comprehensive development policy has been put in place to reach out to all areas and sections of the society in the development process", Omar told a deputation during his "Awami Mulakat" (public meeting) here.

He said attention is on the holistic development of the poor and weaker sections of society besides remote areas.

The special schemes launched for the welfare of the downtrodden and weaker sections have shown their result, the Chief Minister added.

Omar received over 26 deputations and met several individuals who during their interaction presented to him memoranda pertaining to their difficulties and development demands.

The individuals sought the intervention of the Chief Minister for getting their personal matters redressed at various levels in the administration.

 

He gave a patient hearing and disposed off most of the cases on the spot by conveying directions and referring many to the concerned quarters for necessary action.
