12 killed in rain-related incidents

While six persons were killed due to lightning and house collapse in Barabanki, four died in similar incidents in Lucknow yesterday. Two rain-related deaths were reported from Sitapur, officials said today.

While Allahabad received 66.8 mm rain, Varanasi received 43.3 rains till last evening, MET department said.

Heavy rainfall has disrupted traffic movement in many parts of the state.
