2 militants sentenced to life imprisonment
A TADA court here convicted Showkat Ahmed Khan and Nazir Ahmed Sheikh and awarded them a double life sentence, while Farooq Ahmed Chichoo was sentenced to five years in prison.
A CRPF personnel Dharamvir Sharma was killed when the militants opened fire in Nishat area on the outskirt of Srinagar on October 26, 1990.
