4 killed, 12 injured in separate road mishaps

A SUV, carrying pilgrims from Kanpur to Badrinath shrine, was hit by a sppeding truck, killing two of them on the spot and injuring six others, police said.

In another mishap, two persons were killed and six others were injured when a mini-truck carrying devotees to a religious function was hit by a truck near Mahamadpur Gathia village.

The injured have been admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, police added.
