Claire Danes expecting first child with Hugh Dancy

A representative for the 33-year-old actress confirmed that the couple, who got married in 2009, will soon have a new additon to their family, reported People magazine.

A spokesperson for "Homeland" production company, Fox 21, also assured that Danes' pregnancy won't affect the production of the Showtime drama-thriller series.

The show which won 2011 Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series - Drama has been renewed for a second season of twelve episodes.

Danes and Hugh Dancy, 37, first met while starring together in 2007 movie "Evening". They had been dating for more than a year when they announced their engagement in early February 2009.

 

The couple got hitched a few months later.
