Contraband worth Rs. 20 crores and foreign currencies seized

Acting on a tip-off, the customs sleuths raided a general coach of the Delhi-bound Seemanchal Express last night and seized a box containing 3.5 kg heroin, ganza and bhang, besides currencies of Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Madagascar, the Assistant Commissioner (Customs) Jyotiraditya said.

No arrest has been made in this connection as no passenger came forward to claim these items, he said.

Further investigation was on, the customs official said.
