Palm oil up 0.2% on spot demand

Oil for delivery in November edged up by 0.07%

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil prices traded higher by 0.16% to Rs 447.30 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators created positions supported by pick up in demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in October went up by 70 paise, or 0.16%, to Rs 447.30 per 10 kg in business turnover of 129 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November edged up by 30 paise, or 0.07% to Rs 449.20 per 10 kg in 105 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions built up by speculators after pick up in demand in the spot market mainly helped crude palm oil prices to trade marginally higher at futures trade.
