East Bengal down Mumbai FC

It was a revenge win for last year's runners-up who were beaten 1-2 in Mumbai in the first-leg.
The Khalid Jamil-coached side could not make its presence felt, thanks largely to ace forward Yusif Yakubu's lacklustre display.
East Bengal (30 points from 15 matches) leapt past Pune FC to occupy the second place behind leaders Churchill Brothers, while Mumbai remained on 20 from 14 matches.
Egged on by a 15,000-odd home support in the Municipality Stadium here, East Bengal had a perfect start when Chidi gave them an 11th-minute lead.
The scoreline could easily have been 3-0 but the Nigerian forward missed a penalty in the 85th minute and another in the closing minutes, firing straight to goalkeeper Louis Barreto.
Ralte, however, ensured a 2-0 lead in the 53rd minute with a stunning left-foot long-ranger.
Yakubu had a poor outing, with the Ghanian not able to find the target with his wayward shots, even as East Bengal dominated possession.
