Vinod Sharma (41), his mother Gulab Devi (66) and son Satyam (12) died in the roof collapse this morning, SP (rural) Manoj Sonkar said, adding that Sharma's wife Neelu (35) was seriously injured and has been admitted to Hallet Hospital here.
Sharma had climbed up the roof of his house to cover it with a polythene sheet when it suddenly came down burying his family members.
Neighbours informed the police who cleared the debris and rushed the victims to the hospital. However, Sharma, his son and mother died on the way, they said.
An investigation is on.
