A gang of five men today looted Rs 4.61 lakh at gunpoint from a Bihar Grameen Bank branch in Jamui district, police said.
The gunmen held the bank staff captive at gunpoint and decamped with Rs 4.61 lakh, including Rs 52,000 snatched from customers present at the branch, Chakai police station Officer-in-Charge Rohit Gupta said.
The branch manager, Rakesh Kumar, has lodged an FIR in this regard.
Police have begun an investigation, Gupta said.
