Jail guard arrested for taking graft from inmates' visitors

Acting on a tip off, a joint team led by the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Siyaram Singh and the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in-charge Rameshwar Prasad nabbed the jail guard Sunil Yadav while he was taking graft from the visitors to allow them to meet their kins lodged in the divisional jai, the sources said.

Cash and a list of visitors were recovered from Yadav's possession, they said,

An FIR has been lodged against the accused jail guard at Kishanganj Town police station in this connection.
