Leopard injured in Rajasthan

Prima facie it appears that the leopard was hit by a vehicle passing near Basi area, police said here.

Locals informed the forest department following which it was tranquilised and shifted to Udaipur.

During the tranquilising process, it attacked a forest personnel leaving him slightly injured. However, the animal was soon brought under control, they added.
