Prices of maize and bajra fell upto Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today owing to adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts against reduced offtake by consuming industries.
However, non-basmati rice found some buying support from retailers and ended higher.
Traders said increased supplies in the face of reduced offtake by consuming industries mainly pulled down maize and bajra prices.
