Mariah Carey has USD 1500, 8-hour massage

The 42-year-old hired a masseuse to help her relax at her Los Angeles mansion, reported Us magazine.

"The masseuse made USD 1,500. She insisted Sacha Baron Cohen's 2009 comedy movie 'Bruno' play on repeat. It looped the entire time," a source said.

Carey may have required the massage to relieve tension built up after feuding with fellow American Idol judge Nicki Minaj, but the programme's bosses are said to 'love the drama'.

"They feel like they've struck gold," a source said.
