"The girl has been taken into custody under section 436 section of IPC which pertains to willful act of mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to destroy houses. The juvenile has confessed the crime," police said.

The dalit girl, a student of 8th standard from a poor family, allegedly dabbled in such deadly act for two days in succession before she was caught.

Psychiatric experts are of the view that it
