New Delhi, Sep 23 (PTI) Hariharan, who is the head of the 12 member jury, said that Rajkummar Rao-starrer 'Shahid' and Rajat Kapoor's 'Ankhon Dekhi' were also considered for the entry to Oscars race.

Hariharan, who is the head of the 12 member jury, said that Rajkummar Rao-starrer 'Shahid' and Rajat Kapoor's 'Ankhon Dekhi' were also considered for the entry to Oscars race.

"The two films that we discussed a lot apart from 'Liar's Dice' were Hindi films 'Shahid' and 'Ankhon Dekhi'. All the films were good but we were impressed by the subtlety and narrative of 'Liar's Dice'," Hariharan told PTI.

He also noted that the whole selection process was a huge responsibility.

"Selecting a film to represent India is a huge responsibility and we were very much aware of that. It was a unanimous decision in the end," Hariharan said.
