One tourist killed, 4 injured as car overturns near Jaisalmer

A man was killed and four others injured when a luxury car in which they were travelling turned turtle at Phalsund village in Jaisalmer district, police said today.

The deceased identified as Rajat Bhai, driver of the vehicle, hailed from Gujarat's Himatnagar, they said.

Two of the four injured were referred to Jaipur's SMS hospital, they said, adding that the remaining two injured were rushed to a government hospital in Jaisalmer district.

The exact reason of the accident is yet to be ascertained, but primarily driver lost the control on steering on a steep road in the early morning hours, they said.
