Railway ticket booking counter at SNT closed for 16-

A large number of people including many army personnel had gathered before the PRS booking counter at the SNT to book their tickets but the counter remained shut, the sources said.

The railway PRS booking counter at the SNT complex has been shut since December six causing tremendous inconvenience to the general public including service personnel who are usually major patrons of the passenger railway system in Gangtok.

When asked the reason for the PRS counter at the SNT complex shut for 16-days the railway officials refused to speak. They even refused to speak when the PRS counter would open.
