Stewart hits red carpet first time post cheating scandal

The 22-year-old actress, who attended the screening of her film "On The Road" in Toronto, stunned fans earlier this summer when she admitted to an "indiscretion" with married director Rupert Sanders behind the back of her boyfriend and "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson, reported Daily Mail.

Stewart has been lying low ever since and was not present last month for the London premiere of her new movie, an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's novel.

But at the Toronto premiere, Stewart pulled a strong feminine look with a floral couture dress by Zuhair Murad and black high heels, posing for photos with co-stars Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst and met with fans who had waited hours for their arrival.

 

"I do kind of black out a little when I show up at places like this, and I've felt so welcomed. I'm so proud of the movie... Everyone who cares about this book has been waiting forever to see it, so I think that's the most important thing," she said.

Pattinson was also in the spotlight as he took to the stage at the Mtv Video Music Awards in Los Angeles to present a trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2", which is set for release in November.
