Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today congratulated Sania Mirza on becoming the first Indian woman tennis player to become world number one in doubles.
Rao said Sania Mirza, who is a brand ambassador for Telangana, would be an inspiration to the youth of the country, a release from the Chief Minister's Office said.
