Temp dips in Punjab, Haryana after rains

Chandigarh received 21 mm rainfall and the maximum temperature dropped by three notches since yesterday to settle at 32.8 deg C.

Ambala, which got 26 mm rainfall, recorded maximum 32.1 deg C, down two degrees than normal.

Elsewhere, there was 19 mm rainfall in Hisar, 16 mm in Karnal and 24 mm in Rohtak.

In Punjab, Ludhiana received 17 mm showers, followed by Patiala at 12 mm.
