There is no need for Lokpal: Lalu

Talking to reporters here, Prasad said, "There is no need for a Lokpal in the country, a law to tackle corruption already exists."

He said the draft of the bill submitted by Team Anna had flaws and would end parliamentary democracy.

"The draft submitted by Anna Hazare team on Lokpal was not perfect at all as it would demolish the parliamentary democracy," Prasad said.

He said Congress had unnecessarily spoken about bringing an amendment to the bill.
