Tribal girl reunited with family

The minor girl was found by the GRP personnel in an unconscious state and they admitted her to a hospital in West Bengal's Purulia district, sources said here.
A medical examination conducted on the girl confirmed that she was four-month pregnant, they said adding she was sent to Hazaribagh Remand Home yesterday from where her parents took her back home.
The victim narrated her plight to the custodian of the remand home, Anand Sharma, that she was subject to sexual exploitation by some persons for the last few months.
The remand home has decided to move court on the basis of the medical report, Sharma said.
Satyendra Vidyarthi, a representative of an NGO, Jan Seva Parishad, said a memorandum would be given to the Deputy Commissioner the Superintendent of Police to demand action against the woman and would also move the state's women's commission.
According to the girl's family, a woman, who runs a school in Dipugarah village of the district, took the girl with her after convincing the family that she would take care of her education.
According to the girl, the woman allegedly handed her over to some persons in Jamshedpur before she was found at the station.
