Two persons including a teacher killed by truck

The deceased were identified as Om Prakash Pandey, a teacher by profession and a washerman Rajdev Baitha, Sangram police station's Station House Officer (SHO) Manoj Kumar Singh said.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem, he said, adding that the truck has been impounded for the purpose of investigation even as the driver managed to escape.

The local people blocked Sangrampur-Khajuria road for two hours to protest rash driving and demanded compensation to the kins of the victims, Singh said.
