Undertrial prisoner dead

The deceased, identified as Ram Lal (75), suffered cardiac arrest in his prison cell and was rushed to the PMCH where he died during treatment, the Beur jail Superintendent Shivendra Priyadarshi said.

Lal, native of Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, was arrested on charge of drawing pension on the basis of forged documents and had been lodged in the Beur jail since July 27 last, he said.
