Bajaj Allianz to target people in hills

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company, which is fast emerging as the top leader among the private life insurers, would target people living in the hills in Uttaranchal to expand its business.

Smarting from its robust growth during the last financial year, the company would open four new branches in some key areas of the hilly region which include Gopeshwar, Uttarkashi and Kotdwar, said Sunil Bhalla, Senior Branch Manager here.

At present, the company has seven branches including that of Dehra Dun.

Bhalla said the company, which has an annual turnover of Rs 30 crore in the state, is now looking forward to increase it upto Rs 50 crore. "We are moving on right track and we are very optimistic about achieving our new target," Bhalla said.

Claiming that the company has now become no 1 among private insurers, Bhalla said Bajaj Allianz has developed insurance solutions that cater to every segment and age-income profiles. For companies, it provides comprehensive employee Benefit Solutions.

The company has also launched a complete set of need-based products to cater to each varied needs of the customer. Currently, Bajaj Allianz has a product portfolio of 26 products and more need-based products are in the pipeline. Unit link plan is being liked by the people in general in Uttaranchal, he said.
