Colour-Chem Profit Soars To Rs 21.15 Crore

Colour-Chem India Ltd has posted a record profit of Rs 21.15 crore for the year ending March 31, 2000, against Rs 2.30 crore in the previous year.

The board of directors has approved the sub-division of the face value of the equity shares of the company from Rs 100 to Rs 10 each.

The board had declared an interim dividend of 65 per cent in April 2000 for 1999-2000 and hence not recommended any final dividend for the year, the company said in release here yesterday.

Colour-Chem's other income was up by 27.3 per cent to Rs 18.88 crore against Rs 14.83 crore in the previous year, it said adding that a Rs 7 crore has been provided towards taxation as against Rs 30 lakh previous year.
