Devgan Entertainment Inks Slew Of Strategic Tie-Ups

The company has so far been involved in with distributing films like Deewane and Refugee, and has already announced setting up of production facilities.
For music albums, the company has tied up with HMV and Magnasound. It has tied up with leading advertising agency Leo Burnett for creative support and to provide media and marketing services, Roshan Kumar, the company's vice president-marketing, said.

Leo Burnett will provide creativity and marketing services for distribution of their films, adfilms, and home productions like Raju Chacha, which is slated for release in December.
Guy Mansfield, Leo Burnett's creative whizkid, responsible for the Coca Cola advertisement starring Hritik Roshan, will direct the proposed ad films for the company.
Devgan Entertainment is also making foray into creative concepts of marketing their films. For their home production called Raju Chacha, the company is producing books that are kids-oriented, featuring various pictures that are straight from the movie. This strategy is expected to arouse interest among children for the film.
The company plans to launch an exclusive portal on Indian entertainment giving exhaustive information about the industry. The portal is expected to educate surfers on issues like history, terminology, people connected to the film industry as well as issues regarding places of entertainment.
The portal will also provide a platform for wannabe stars who can place their portfolio on the net.
The company is, at present, ranked among the four top distributors in the Mumbai circuit and has acquired rights for 12 films with big banners like that of J P Dutta, David Dhawan, Venus Records and Jhamu Sughand.
