Pre-Listing Ceremony Of Tv 18 Held At Bse

Raghav Bahl, managing director, Television Eighteen (TV 18) was overwhelmed as he stood to address a small gathering of members of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in the trading ring yesterday. He said he has filmed traders using various signs to strike deals in the trading ring prior to the launch of screen-based trading.
"We were a five-people company and had two programmes on air. It has been a long trek since. A new future begins tomorrow in the history of our company as our stock will be traded. We are more accountable to a large number of people who are our shareholders," he said.
The TV 18 stock will open for trading on both BSE and the National Stock Exchange. BSE organised a pre-listing ceremony for the first time in its history. Raghav Bahl and his team presented the company's strategy as revealed in its IPO offer document to members of the stock exchange.
