Stewarts and Llyods of India, a subsidiary of Tata Steel closed the financial year 1999-2000 with a turnover of Rs 49.58 crore. The company had registered a turnover of Rs 43.27 crore during the year 1998-99. The company registered a profit after tax during the year 1999-2000 of Rs 1.11 crore as against Rs 1.08 crore in the previous year.
