Two Us Golf Firms Seek Nod For Assembly Set-Up

Two leading US-based irrigation and golf equipment manufacturing companies, The Toro Company and Rain Bird International Inc, are aggressively marketing their products in India after the opening up of the leisure-related tourism industry here.

Though both the companies operate through distributors, Rain Bird expects to get government clearance shortly for assembling and manufacturing some of the irrigation equipment.
