Aurionpro Solutions to buy US-based SENA

Banking software and consulting company Aurionpro Solutions has entered into an agreement to acquire identity and access management (I&AM) consulting organisation SENA Systems Inc (SENA).

The company is also planning to raise up to Rs 150 crore through preferential allotment to promoters and strategic investors. The process is expected to be completed in 45-60 days subject to shareholders approval.

SENA, headquartered in Metro Park, N.J, USA, has an offshore delivery center in Pune, and provides the full spectrum of services to implement and integrate complete I&AM implementations. It has a team of over 80 people, mainly in USA and India.

Amit Sheth, managing director, AurionPro, said: "SENA has an excellent client portfolio & team with deep domain knowledge in the BFSI sector and with large banks as customers in the American market. This will expand our customer base significantly and also strengthen our support capability in the North American market. This acquisition will also help us expand our customer offerings significantly in Asia besides expanding our foot print to the Japanese market."
