Chance the Rapper has got married to his longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley. The rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Jonathan Bennett, and his fiancee had dated for over 10 years before tying the knot on Saturday at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California, reported People. "The Bennetts," wrote the rapper on social media while posting a photo of his with Corley. In the photo, the rapper is seen wearing a white tuxedo while the bride donned a strapless gown. The ceremony was attended by Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye West, who has long been friends with Chance. 6 in Canadian family killed in Ethiopian Airlines crash
Six members of a Canadian family heading for a safari vacation were among the 18 Canadians killed in the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines passenger jet. The Peel District School Board said Monday that 14-year-old Ashka and 13-year-old Anushka Dixit were with their parents and grandparents on the plane. The 37-year-old mother Kosha Vaidya, 45-year-old father Prerit Dixit, 71-year-old grandfather Pannagesh Vaidya and 63-year-old grandmother Hansini Vaidya also died. The mother's brother, Manant Vaidya, says the family vacation to Kenya was supposed to be first visit for his sister to her birthplace in decades. He says the teenage girls were excited about plans to go on a safari. He says they wanted to see all the animals without cages.
Unmarried woman dies while trying to deliver baby alone in UP
A 25-year-old unmarried woman died while attempting to deliver a baby alone in her rented room at Bilandpur here, police said Monday. According to sources, the woman was reportedly watching a video on giving birth on her mobile. She was a native of Bahraich and living in Gorakhpur for the last four years and was preparing for competitive exams, police said. Four days ago, she took a room on rent in Bilandpur area and on Sunday, the other tenants noticed blood coming out of the door of her room, police said. After reaching the spot, police found the woman and her baby lying in a pool of blood. The woman's body was later taken for postmortem. "The woman was 25 years old and unmarried. She died in an attempt to deliver baby alone in her room in which she came to live on rent just four days ago. However, she was living in Gorakhpur for the last four years and was preparing for competitive exams," said Ravi Rai, the SHO of Cant police station. "No FIR was lodged as the family did not give .
Bomb hoax at Khar railway station
Security was beefed up at suburban Khar railway station on Sunday evening, after an unidentified caller from North America claimed that a bomb was planted there, police said Monday. However, the call turned out to be a hoax. An unidentified person called on the landline number of Khar police station Sunday evening, claiming that a bomb was planted at the railway station, which comes under Western Railway, an official said. Security was beefed up at the railway station and a thorough check was conducted, but nothing suspicious was found, he said, adding that the call was then declared as hoax. He said the call was made from North America. A case has been registered against the unidentified caller, the official added.

Professor Prajapati Trivedi, a senior director in the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, has been awarded the prestigious Harry Hatry Distinguished Performance Management Practice Award for 2019 for his contribution in public administration. Over 3 lakh items of clothing donated, Guinness world record created in Udaipur
A campaign by a member of the erstwhile royal family of Udaipur has received over 3 lakh items of clothing, creating a Guinness world record for the largest collection of clothes for donation, a press release claimed. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a descendant of Rajput ruler Maharana Pratap, received the certificate from an official of the Guinness Book of World Records-UK at Udaipur on Sunday, it said. He started the 'Vastradan' campaign under which over 3,29,250 pieces of clothing from over 76,000 donors were collected and distributed to the needy, the release said. The campaign reached out to over 120 schools, 15 colleges and around 30 NGOs, it said. "I started the campaign as an innovative exercise in giving. I could have asked some organisations to fund the same, but I wanted the citizens, young boys and girls of the city to show what a large heart they have," Mewar said in the release.
