Lucknow Super Giants are planning to bring back pace sensation Mayank Yadav in their next IPL fixture at home against Rajasthan Royals on April 27, bowling coach Morne Morkel revealed here on Monday. Following a spectacular start to IPL with three-fors against each of Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mayank was sidelined by "soreness in lower abdominal area" since April 7. On the eve of their return leg clash against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday, Morkel said Mayank had stayed back in Lucknow and is set to return against Rajasthan Royals. "He stayed behind in Lucknow just to give him that extra two-three days without travelling," Morkel told reporters here. Star batter Virat Kohli was on Monday fined half of his match fees for showing dissent towards umpire's decision during Royal Challengers Bengaluru's IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders. Kohli was given out after the he was caught off a waist-height full-toss delivery Harshit Rana during RCB's one-run loss to KKR at the Eden Garden's on Sunday. The Hawk-Eye system that measures no-balls for height came into play. The delivery, which seemed to be dipping on the batter, was just above the waist when he made contact with the ball. The star batter, who made 18 off seven balls, was standing just outside the crease at that moment. Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League due to a hamstring injury, Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting confirmed on Monday. Marsh has featured in only four out of DC's eight matches this season so far, scoring 61 runs at a strike rate of 160.52 besides bagging a wicket in three innings. Marsh had already flown back home on April 12 to get a consultation with Cricket Australia's medical team and is currently recuperating in Perth.
