Global Health Limited's IPO to open on November 3: Red Herring Prospectus

The initial share sale of Global Health Limited, which operates and manages hospitals under the Medanta brand, will open for public subscription on November 3. The Initial Public Offering (IPO) will conclude on November 7, according to the Red Herring Prospectus (RHP). The IPO consists of a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to Rs 500 crore and an offer for sale of up to 5.08 crore equity shares. As a part of the OFS, Anant Investments, an affiliate of private equity major Carlyle Group and Sunil Sachdeva (jointly with Suman Sachdeva), will offload equity shares. At present, Anant Investments holds 25.67 per cent shareholding in Global Health and Sachdeva owns 13.43 per cent stake in the company. DCX Systems sets price band at Rs 197-207/share for its Rs 500 cr IPO

DCX Systems, a manufacturer of cables and wire harness assemblies, on Friday announced a price band of Rs 197 to Rs 207 per share for its Rs 500-crore initial public offering (IPO). The initial share-sale will open for public subscription on October 31 and conclude on November 2, the company said. The company has cut the size of its fresh issue of equity shares to Rs 400 crore from Rs 500 crore planned earlier. Apart from the fresh issue, the IPO comprises an offer-for-sale of equity shares to the tune of up to Rs 100 crore by promoters -- NCBG Holdings Inc and VNG Technology. The company proposes to utilise the net proceeds from the fresh issue towards debt payment, funding working capital requirements, investment in its wholly-owned subsidiary Raneal Advanced Systems to fund its capital expenditure expenses and general corporate purposes. Kaynes Technology gets Sebi's go ahead to float IPO to raise funds

Kaynes Technology India Limited (KTIL) has received capital markets regulator Sebi's go ahead to raise funds through an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The IPO consists of a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to Rs 650 crore, and an Offer For Sale (OFS) of up to 72 lakh equity shares by a promoter and an existing shareholder, according to the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP). The OFS comprises sale of up to 37 lakh equity shares by promoter Ramesh Kunhikannan and up to 35 lakh equity shares by existing shareholder Freny Firoze Irani. The company, which filed preliminary IPO papers with Sebi in April, obtained its observations letter on October 6, an update with the regulator showed on Monday. In Sebi's parlance, the observation implies its go ahead to launch IPO. Going by the draft papers, proceeds from the fresh issue worth Rs 130 crore will be used to repay debt and Rs 98.93 crore will be utilised for funding capital expenditure for its manufacturing facilities at Mysore

Tracxn Technologies' IPO gets subscribed 23% on first day of offer

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Tracxn Technologies received 23 per cent subscription on the first day of offer on Monday. The IPO received bids for 49,56,520 shares against 2,12,69,714 shares on offer, according to a NSE data. The portion for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) got subscribed 1.23 times. The category for non-institutional investors received 4 per cent subscription. The IPO of up to 3,86,72,208 equity shares is in a price range of Rs 75-80 a share. Market intelligence platform Tracxn Technologies on Friday said it has raised a little more than Rs 139 crore from anchor investors. At the upper end of the price band, the IPO is expected to garner Rs 309 crore. The Bengaluru-headquartered company operates on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model and is among the leading market intelligence providers for private company data. Sebi penalises 10 firms for diverting IPO proceeds in Birla Pacific case

Capital markets regulator Sebi has imposed penalties totalling Rs 3.42 crore on 10 entities, including Birla Pacific Medspa and Yashovardhan Birla, for violating listing agreements as well as diverting proceeds from the initial public offer of Birla Pacific Medspa Ltd. The regulator imposed a fine of Rs 1.07 crore on Birla Pacific Medspa Ltd, Rs 32 lakh on Abhijit Desai, Rs 26 lakh on PVR Murthy and Rs 25 lakh each on Yashovardhan Birla, Venkateshwaralu Nelabhotla, Mohandas Adige, Anoj Menon, Rajesh Shah, Upkar Singh Kohli and Tushar Dey. The order came after Sebi conducted an investigation into the initial public offer of Birla Pacific Medspa Ltd (BPML) for the period July 7-15, 2011. The scrip of BPML was listed on BSE on July 7, 2011, after the IPO was open for subscription from June 20-23, 2011. The price of the scrip had seen sharp volatility on the listing day, closing at Rs 25.35, 154 per cent more than the issue price of Rs 10 per share, Sebi said in an order on September .

Medical equipment manufacturer Airox Technologies has filed preliminary papers with capital markets regulator Sebi to raise Rs 750 crore through an initial public offering (IPO).
