She has been routinely alleging that rapes have increased during 18 years of BJP rule in MP. Hitting back, Sitharaman said, "In Rajasthan, especially on Dalit women, such terrible atrocities are being committed that one gets scared after watching the news on television and reading newspapers." Int'l community should enforce immediate ceasefire in Palestine: Priyanka

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday accused the leaders of the "free world" of financing the "genocide" of thousands in Palestine and demanded that the international community should enforce an immediate ceasefire there. Without naming Israel or specifying any country of the free world, she described the situation as horrific and said that around 10,000 civilians have been massacred. "It is horrific and shameful beyond words that almost 10,000 civilians of which nearly 5000 are children have been massacred, whole family lines have been finished off, hospitals and ambulances have been bombed, refugee camps targeted and yet the so-called leaders of the 'free' world continue to finance and support the genocide in Palestine," she said in a post on X. "A ceasefire is the very least step that should be immediately enforced by the international community or it will have no moral authority left," the Congress leader also said. Schemes of BJP-led Centre hollow: Priyanka Gandhi in poll-bound Rajasthan

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra slammed the BJP-led Centre on Wednesday, saying its schemes are "hollow", whereas those framed by the Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan are being implemented on the ground. The Congress general secretary said a bill for women's reservation in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies has been passed in Parliament, but it will take 10 years to implement it. She also pointed out that 10 years have gone by since the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) was announced. "Their (Centre's) schemes are hollow, whereas the schemes of the Congress government (in Rajasthan) are being implemented on the ground," Gandhi said while addressing a public meeting in Jhunjhunu district of poll-bound Rajasthan. She said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has understood that talking about religions and castes during polls will get votes for it. "The Centre tries to suppress people. It only wants to be in power and secure its future," Gandhi said. She also alleged that
