CPPIB buys shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures worth Rs 299 crore

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) on Thursday bought over 1.70 crore shares of Nykaa's parent company FSN E-Commerce Ventures for Rs 299 crore through an open market transaction. CPPIB purchased a total of 1,70,81,850 shares of the company, as per bulk deal data available with the BSE. The shares were acquired at an average price of Rs 175.25 apiece, taking the aggregate value to Rs 299.35 crore. Meanwhile, Mala Gopal Gaonkar disposed a total of 5.75 crore shares of the company. The company's stock is in focus as the mandatory lock-in period for pre-offer investors came to an end on November 10. On Thursday, shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures closed 0.57 per cent higher at Rs 185.55 on BSE.

Lighthouse India Fund offloads Rs 525-cr shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures

Lighthouse India Fund III on Wednesday offloaded shares of Nykaa's parent company FSN E-Commerce Ventures worth Rs 525 crore through open market transactions. According to the bulk deal data available with the BSE, Lighthouse India Fund III, an affiliate of Lighthouse Advisors, sold 3 crore shares of the company. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 175.13 apiece, taking the aggregate value to Rs 525.39 crore. However, buyer(s) of the shares could not be ascertained. On Wednesday, shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures closed 3.91 per cent lower at Rs 184.50 on BSE. In a separate transaction, Sion Investment Holdings Pte sold shares of CMS Info systems for Rs 100 crore. Sion Investment Holdings Pte offloaded 30,01,100 shares at an average price of Rs 333.05 per scrip, taking the transaction value to Rs 99.95 crore, as per bulk deal data available with the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Meanwhile, SmallCap World Fund acquired the shares of the company at the same price. CMS

Hero MotoCorp shares fall over 2.5% after Q2 earnings announcement

Shares of Hero MotoCorp on Friday fell by over 2.5 per cent after the company reported a 9 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30. The stock declined 2.47 per cent to Rs 2,580.55 on the BSE. At the NSE, it dipped 2.54 per cent to Rs 2,579.05. Hero MotoCorp on Thursday reported a 9 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 682 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, mainly due to enhanced expenses and a slight dip in sales during the period. The country's largest two-wheeler maker had reported a net profit of Rs 748 crore in the July-September period of the previous fiscal. The revenue from operations rose to Rs 9,158 crore in the September quarter compared to Rs 8,539 crore in the year-ago period, Hero MotoCorp said in a regulatory filing. Three entities offload over 4 mn PVR shares worth Rs 759.14 crore

Three different entities have offloaded 40.45 lakh shares of multiplex operator PVR on Thursday that are worth Rs 759.14 crore through open market transactions. Plenty Private Equity FII I sold 7,62,499 shares of the company at an average price of Rs 1,877.14 apiece, according to bulk deal data available on the BSE. Plenty Private Equity Fund I offloaded 10,76,259 shares of the firm at an average price of Rs 1,887.04 and Gray Birch Investment sold 22,06,743 shares at Rs 1,871.18 apiece. Gray Birch Investment sold its entire holding in the firm. As per the company's June quarter shareholding pattern available on the BSE, Gray Birch Investment held 22,06,743 shares or 3.61 per cent as public shareholder, while Plenty Private Equity FII I held 15,24,998 shares or 2.50 per cent stake in PVR. Plenty Private Equity Fund I held 21,52,517 shares or 3.52 per cent stake in the company. Shares of PVR fell 4.40 per cent to settle at Rs 1,844.50 apiece on the BSE.

General Atlantic Singapore sells 1.66 mn shares of KIMS worth Rs 204 cr

General Atlantic Singapore Kh Pte Ltd on Thursday offloaded 16.60 lakh shares of hospital chain Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd (KIMS) for Rs 204 crore through an open market transaction. According to the bulk deal data available with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the shares were sold at an average price of Rs 1,230 apiece, valuing the transaction at Rs 204.18 crore. At the end of June quarter, General Atlantic Singapore Kh Pte Ltd owned 17.24 per cent stake in the company, as per data available with the bourse. Emerald Investments Ltd picked up 15,70,000 shares at the same price. KIMS shares closed 5.24 per cent higher at Rs 1,266.80 on NSE. In a separate transaction, TPG Dodla Dairy Holdings divested shares of dairy company Dodla Dairy Ltd for Rs 193 crore through open market transactions. BNP Paribas Arbitrage offloads 405,000 PVR shares worth Rs 74 cr

BNP Paribas Arbitrage on Thursday offloaded 4.05 lakh shares of multiplex film exhibition company PVR Ltd for more than Rs 74 crore through an open market transaction. According to bulk deal data available with BSE, BNP Paribas Arbitrage sold 4,05,183 shares of the company.
