Hyundai Motor India Tuesday said it is training a team of over 10,000 professionals for its global connected technology that is all set to debut in its upcoming compact SUV Venue. The auto major will introduce its global technology BlueLink in the Indian market with the launch of the compact SUV which is set to hit roads in May this year. The company is training 615 'Blue Link Wizards' who in turn would train over 10,000 sales consultants across its sales network across the country. "Our team of Blue Link Wizards and trained sales consultants will make the technology truly accessible to all our customers," Hyundai Motor India Senior General Manager Marketing Puneet Anand told reporters here. The trained consultants will also visit the home of Venue buyers for feature explanation and education, he added. The company has a sales network of 491 dealers and over 1,300 service touch points. It would take an attacker only 13 minutes and a 3D printed fingerprint scanner to fool Samsung Galaxy S10.The Samsung Galaxy S10 boasts the new-age in-display fingerprint sensor which adds the much-hyped all-screen appearance by eliminating a physical sensor.However, an Imgur user, called darkshark, found that the sophisticated technology on the Galaxy S10 could be fooled with a 3D print of the fingerprint, The Verge reported.The user took a picture of his fingerprint on a wine glass and processed it in Photoshop to make a model using 3ds Max. He then converted it into a 3D version. In 13 minutes, he was able to get a print of the 3D version that fooled the phone's sensor.Darkshark stressed that as more apps and services use fingerprint authentication, a loophole at the base level is a potential risk to one's confidential information.It is possible to carry out the entire process in less than three minutes .

Defence major Thales and the Kalyani Group have finalised a new collaboration to manufacture next generation weapons systems for India. The two companies have inked an agreement for the joint venture. Spacewalking astronauts tackled battery and cable work outside the International Space Station on Monday. It was the third spacewalk in just 2 weeks for the space station crew. NASA astronaut Anne McClain and Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques hustled through their part in battery swap-outs that began last month. "All right, you rock," Mission Control radioed. Next up: laying cable outside the 250-mile-high outpost to provide a backup power circuit for the station's Canadian-made robot arm and expand wireless communications. The ongoing battery work involves re-installing two old batteries. One of six new lithium-ion batteries did not work, so McClain had to remove an adapter plate she put in. Last week, flight controllers used the space station's robot arm to remove the failed battery along with an associated charging device. Industry body Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) Monday said the draft e-commerce policy may be "inimical" to the government's efforts of building a trillion-dollar digital economy by 2022, and is likely to "severely bring down FDI flows" in the sector. The association was also of the view that "the process of making the policy itself was less than inclusive and open" as compared to recent national-level policies like the National Digital Communications Policy 2018.
