Power Minister Harun Yusuf issued the direction at a meeting he had with CEOs of BSES Yamuna Power Ltd, BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd.

"Instructions were issued to ensure uninterrupted supply of power during the course of Ramzan," Yusuf said.

The Minister also directed the discoms to depute adequate number of field staff to attend to any sort of technical glitches in the distribution network.
