Century Plyboards PAT drops 12.9%

Century Plyboards (India) Ltd, has posted a 12.9 per cent drop in profit after tax (PAT) for the third quarter of this financial year ended on December 31 to Rs 27 crore, as compared to Rs 31 crore during the same period last fiscal. The company’s net sales for the period under review rose 26.7 per cent to Rs 361 crore, against Rs 285 crore during the third quarter of the previous financial year. Meanwhile, the firm’s PAT for first nine months of this fiscal zoomed 3.8 per cent to Rs 110 crores from Rs 106 crore during the same period last year. Net sales for the nine month period rose 21 per cent to Rs 1,013 crore from Rs 837 crore last year.
