Galla Foods eyes Rs 80 crore turnover

Galla Foods Pvt Ltd, part of Amara Raja Group, has set a target of Rs 80 crore turnover during the current fiscal, as compared to Rs 38.3 crore last year.
The company also set a target to capture three per cent of the fruit-based beverage market in South which is estimated to be around Rs 470 crore.
Speaking to reporters after launching company’s new Galla Fruit Drink in Mango and Applie-Litchi flavor in Chennai today Jay Galla, managing director, Galla Foods said that to support the company’s target the company will increase the outlets.
The company will also go for pan-India expansion by end of this year and will look at capturing 10 per cent of market share in the segment which is expected to grow to Rs 3,500 crore in 2013.
Asheesh Nigam, head – sales and marketing, Galla Foods said that currently the company is presented in 10,000 outlets in South and will be looking at increasing it to 50,000-60,000 over the next five years.
As part of pan-India expansion plan, the company will also look at possibility of setting up a facility and its open for acquisition also, said Galla.
