GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Q2 net up at Rs 82 cr

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH) today reported a 14.92% increase in its net profit to Rs 82.46 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011.

For the three months ended June 30, 2010, its net profit stood at Rs 71.75 crore, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

GSKCH's net sales for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, also grew 21.59% to Rs 653.38 crore, as against Rs 537.35 crore in the corresponding quarter of last financial year.
