Indroyal eyes Rs 300 crore turnover by 2010

| Leading furniture manufacturer Indroyal, which is rapidly expanding its presence in Kerala, has set a sales turnover target of Rs 300 crore by 2010. |
| According to Indroyal chief financial officer Sethumadhavan, "the company, which currently has a sales turnover of around Rs 30 crore, is looking at a major growth in the years to come and has set its sights on the Rs 300-crore figure to be achieved by 2010". |
| As part of its efforts to enhance its presence in the Kerala market, the company opened its 14th outlet at Karamana in Thiruvananthapuram. This is its second in the state capital. |
| Talking to mediapersons prior to the launch of the showroom, Indroyal directors N Madhusoodanan, J Vijayan, Sethumadhavan and vice-president Sunil Kumar Narendran said that the opening of the new showroom is part of its expansion plans all over south India. |
| The next showroom is likely to come up at Alappuzha soon. |
| This apart, Indroyal is looking at operating an additional shift at its existing facility at the Kinfra park here. The addition, which is estimated to cost around Rs 5 crore, is likely to happen by January next. |
| The company, which currently employs around 1,000 people, is eyeing the possibility of adding more skilled staff to take the number to 2,500. |
