JP Iscon to expand with more projects in high-end residential segment

Having launched one of the biggest high-end residential projects in Gujarat, Ahmedabad-based real estate development firm, JP Iscon is now looking to expand further in the premium residential category. The company had launched Iscon Platinum, a premium residential project comprising 12 towers with options of 3, 4 and 5 BHK homes.

"We have received excellent response for our Iscon Platinum wherein we have booked 70 per cent of the 400-odd units. We are now looking to set up more such large premium residential projects. We will be typically looking at a project size of 300-400 units," said Jateen Gupta, Managing Director of JP Iscon Ltd, without divulging investment details. Currently, of the total 12 ongoing projects of JP Iscon, about 10 are residential projects, most of which are in the high-end segment.

 

Spread over 4.11 lakh square feet area, of which 80 per cent will be retained as open area, the Iscon Platinum site is strategically located on the Sardar Patel Ring Road at the start of Bopal in Ahmedabad. Talking about the trend of high-end residential projects, Gupta said, "Customers are now increasingly looking at 4-5 BHK high end residential properties which are spacious in nature. Moreover, customers are preferring these units in form of apartments rather than bungalows. We intend to cash in on this trend."

On its part, Iscon Platinum is replete with facilities required for high-end living including a hanging garden, water cascade, lily pond and green island, apart from walking and jogging track, yoga deck, gymnasium, medicare centre and senior citizen garden.

"Over the years we have been taking feedback from our customers and incorporating wherever possible all positive suggestions made by them. At Iscon Platinum, we have put together the various recommendations made by our high-end customers and are offering 'platinum' standard facilities in every possible way," added Gupta.
